It’s hard to believe that Thanksgiving is already less than two weeks away. Turkey Day ranks pretty high on my list of favorite holidays, so it makes me a little sad that we now have a tendency to overlook it as the holiday that transitions us between Halloween and Christmas. Starting November 1st, it’s now all about Christmas shopping, which frankly is kind of sad. We already live in a fast-moving world, more than we realize, so why not enjoy the holidays-and all they bring with them- as they come.
The most recent world news is also a good reminder of the importance of slowing down, taking a breath and enjoying all that we have in our lives. Love with all your heart, cherish moments with friends and family and appreciate the little things that will always make you smile. In times of hardship, what’s important is how we react. Resilience builds the strength that empowers us to continue living.
